Today, there are four wines produced by our family Business: a white, Pietrasca, and three reds: Ceppitaio, Sassobucato and Barbicone. The names of this wines are derived from the names of localities within our estate, and surrounding vicinity.

In the middle of our estate is found an abandoned marble cave that is called “ Sassobucato”: from this comes the name of our wine, consisting of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 16 month in barriques of French oak, and then in bottle for eight months. It has a deep purple color and at the palate is soft, full and elegant, with firm fruit notes. To drink at 20°C, is ideal with pork grilled meal, and with beef steak. |
