The Wine
Barbicone owes its name to a town where we have a vineyard; this wine is 80% Sangiovese, with the rest consisting of Colorino and Pugnitello, grapes typical to the area, originating from an old vineyard
. This wine is aged for about 12 months in French oak barriques, then refined in the bottle for 12 months. Bright purple in colour, it has an intense scent of wild berries and spices.
Enjoyed at 19°C, this wine pairs excellently with typical Tuscan dishes and game.
